GDT: Minnesota at Oklahoma City
I doubt there will be much activity in the game thread tonight, but I'll still fire it up. Minnesota's five games over .500 with a very good chance to get to six (35-29). While tonight should be a "gimme" in the simplest sense, the Wolves can't afford to come into tonight's game expecting the Thunder players to roll over for them. Minnesota's a 10.0-point favorite without Anthony Edwards and potentially Jarred Vanderbilt as well. Oklahoma City will be without damn near half of their active roster to include Josh Giddey and Derrick Favors. I guess they'll just have to get their 35th lucky win of the season. Ho-hum. Get it done.
Dallas beat Golden State last night and Denver plays Houston tonight. Minnesota is in the must-win territory of their schedule.

Need to take control early if OKC is missing that many players!

Update: Jarred Vanderbilt ended up starting, however, he does not look like he's moving how we're used to seeing. He appears a step slow.

Malik's shot looks like ass early.

Jaden showed up tonight. Moving without the basketball and making shots. Love to see it. Playing with much more confidence over the last six weeks.

Theoretically, Karl-Anthony Towns should post an easy 30/10 game tonight against this Thunder frontline. They are very small down low.

Minnesota's defenders are not respecting Oklahoma City's shooters -- nor should they. They are collapsing the paint every time Shai attacks off the dribble... And yet it's still not working well.

Thunder lead after one quarter, 34-32. Shai has 13 points and four assists. Terrible defensive frame.

I wish Ant would get those touch fouls on his drives. SGA didn't deserve that last call on McDaniels

After missing his first three terribly, Malik has made his next two. Much better.
