Wendell Moore
Wendell Moore
Wolves traded up to take Wendell Moore, 3 and D wing
Re: Wendell Moore
That's what I'm talking about! Absolutely perfect wingman to play alongside Ant, Beasley, and/or Nowell for stretches. We needed a legit 3&D wing prospect that compliments our scorers.

Also worth noting Moore was most often the primary PG for Duke this season.

I love this add, love secondary ball handlers who can shoot and defender and can make the pass when they watch the close out

Yup, if he can eventually play the same role for Minnesota as he did for Duke last year, we just drafted the perfect role player. Let's hope that 3-ball is for real, because he only started hitting it last year. Too small of a sample size for me to get too excited, but love the swiss army knife skill-set he brings to the table. Also, with 3 years of college ball and some big-time tourney games under his belt, he may be able to crack the rotation next season. He's got a lot more maturity than Jaden or Ant did as rookies, albeit a lower ceiling.

I agree we don't know if his 3 point shooting is for real but there are a bunch of guys in this draft that are similar and some picked much higher. He did shoot over 80% on FTs every year in college so that helps.
Re: Wendell Moore
He hit 45% of his corner 3s this year

Love it! Music to my ears. Seems like the type of guy that can thrive playing around high usage scorers and play makers. He'd pair well with Ant, KAT, DLO and Nowell...skilled scorers and passers that he cut and space out beyond the arc off of.

Anyone know which 2nd round picks we gave up?
