Just read this. Good stuff.
And I think the ending is the most telling. For a team that has only 7 wins... there's actual optimism of sorts.

Yeah it seems everyone is getting really pumped about our youth. I guess now that we are adding another lottery pick it is hard to overlook our talent. This year is probably going to end up being a great thing for us even though it is sad to have gotten nothing from all our or old guard.

Re: Wiggins Article
I think the important part is our youth is actually progressing and showing improvement in a lot of ways. Yes, there are many things every player on this team can do better, but how long has it been since one of our young guys actually delivered on unrealized potential? We're no longer basing our hope on potential, but honest-to-goodness real life production.
I say this fully recognizing there is still a significant gap between reality and full potential for all our young ones. But... those gaps don't seem so big anymore.

Just read this and came here to see if anyone has read it. Now this might be a bone head question, but isn't Grantland Bill Simmons' like, part of ESPN? I just personally was shocked that anything positive Wolves related could appear in association with him. The tide truly is turning if Wiggins is making a hopeful believer out of Simmons and his staff.

I actually went on to read his part 1 of the trade thing he does every year that I find quite interesting despite usual bias. He does go on in part of it to say he was wrong about the Burke for Shabazz and Dieng, trade. Not sure how to handle all of this, might need a drink.

hughes you're going to need a lot of drinks to digest Simmons coming around on anything.
Re: Wiggins Article
I know I am probably in the minority on this but I actually like Simmons (I realize he dosent like the wolves), but there are some really good writers on Grantland especially Zach Lowe, if you do not read him I would strongly encourage you to start
