Tanking in Detroit - GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

Although the return of Rubio is apparently infectious! Solid offense. Solid defense. Some of the best minutes Zach has put in for awhile on both ends of the court.

Keep it up!

Zach gets too much criticism on here. I see some real potential there, and it comes out in drips from time to time. Keep doing wihat you're doing Zach, you have all the time necessary.

Ya the Wolves are playing well, I would like Dieng to stop contesting everything, he is giving up way to many putback because of it. Really good minutes from pretty much everyone right now, Young is playing very good.

Also Bennett did something in this game that I have not seen him do before, he pumped faked the mid range jumper got his defender to bite and drove past him and threw it down. It was nice!

I love the Zach pick! It's too early to say just how he fits in the rotation down the road, but there's not doubt he is going to make an impact.

A Mateen Cleeves sighting!!! I like him a lot better than Quincy Lewis...

Nice half by the Wolves. We still gave up over 50% shooting.

I don't understand the Zach hate on this board, we knew going in he was going to be a big project. Considering he was thrown into more minutes played out of his natural position, probably the most important position in the game, I think he has faired quite well. You can see he has all the tools, and on occasion he puts them all together for periods of time, though it is always clear he is not, and never will be a true 1.

Regarding this game, Thad continues his revitalized play, and KMart has been very energetic on defense from what I've seen, though I only tuned in as the 2nd began.

What I would like to be seeing is a little LoBrown, he looked solid in his one start, especially given how little time he had spent with the team up to that point. Yes his shot is terrible, but I would rather see him at the 1 and Zach at the 2 with the second unit.

Ha, an Anthony Tolliver sighting! I always liked him.

Why no Lorenzo Brown?
