Wiseman is ducking the Wolves according to Doogie and Windhorst

*Doogie mentioned the Beasley story is going to get weirder. I'm not sure what he's intimating, but something else may be coming out.

*Talked the Jazz sale and its affect on the Wolves. Windy acknowledged the renovations, but still says Target Center is probably a bottom 5 arena. Team sucks and fans don't go. Franchise is worth much more as a relocation candidate if there is no Minnesota billionaire savior who steps up. They drag KG a bit for his aspirations to be involved despite how cash poor he is relative to ownership $.

*The draft is the same tune we've been hearing. No conclusive #1. Can they get something meaningful by trade. Yadda yadda yadda. The most note worthy piece may be both agreeing Wiseman is ducking the Wolves. He has shown little to no interest in the Wolves with KAT being here and GSW a possible fit right behind. Talked Charlotte maybe trading up.

Wiseman has been trying to independently create his NBA narrative for a while now. I hope he actually has the chops on the court to back up his actions, but there is a definite headcase worry that I have about him. As we all know, he certainly wouldn't be the first headcase in the NBA, and in isolation that shouldn't really factor into us not taking him. But his behavior purely from a character perspective seems a bit questionable to me. This is clearly the way the league has been headed for a while though.

I'm listening to this now. Typically, I don't buy anything Brian Windhorst says unless it comes to LeBron James because he's the mouthpiece that camp runs through. And Darren Wolfson is Darren Wolfson.

I think the Wolves are behind the ball on workouts and meetings, though. The only one that I've seen reported is LaMelo Ball. They have nine more that they need to account for. Maybe they're happening without anyone knowing. It does seem odd, though.

Very doom and gloom outlook from Windhorst. Some of that is appropriate, but some of his takes are pretty off for me.

If someone is avoiding the Wolves that should be a green light to draft him. It means he's a pretty smart dude! Didn't Curry do the same thing?

Right? It means they follow the league and want to fully meet their potential. This is funny.

Rick Mahorn started it in 1988 and everyone else has followed.

Stop treating these kids with kid gloves. Get their asses in a meeting and figure this shit out. The only way a guy dodges your org is if you let them. We have the number 1 pick. Just straight up tell Wiseman and his camp if he doesn't want his ass parked on the bench for his rookie year to get his ass to MN and interview for the top spot and then when he gets here prop up the duo of him and KAT as a new age in the NBA. This shit isn't hard. These divas think they have power but they don't. This is where Rosas needs to show some leadership and vision and get a guy like Wiseman on board if he's on the fence. Only bad organizations get bullied by draft prospects.
