Tonight's game is almost certainly a loss, but I'm hoping to see better lineup decisions from Chris Finch, specifically less minutes for Leandro Bolmaro and Jordan McLaughlin, and more for Jaylen Nowell and Nathan Knight.

I'd actually be tempted to start those two in place of Patrick Beverley and Jarred Vanderbilt, who are both out due to COVID protocols. Malik Beasley needs to continue coming off the bench in a sixth man's role. Give me a starting five of Jaylen Nowell, D'Angelo Russell, Jaden McDaniels, Nathan Knight, and Karl-Anthony Towns. At least Nowell provides a chance at two-way production -- neither Bolmaro or McLaughlin can do that -- and Knight has made an impact on the glass in his limited minutes.

No KAT either. Going into protocols. Maybe the Wolves can be one of those underdog teams that wins a game for once.

Well, in all fairness Utah is going to have to compete without Malik Fitts and Udoka Azubuike, so the injury report looks about even to me ;) .

This news really sucks. KAT has taken his offensive game to a new level, and I wanted to see how he was going to do against the Stifle Tower. And selfishly I have tickets for the Knicks game next week, and I'm not too fired up about watching the B squad. Let's hope most of them return from Covid protocol before next week's two winnable home game. We've been so fortunate all season with so few games missed (and opponents missing key players). But having 7 players including 4 starters is ridiculous.

I suspect Utah will show up expecting an easy win and not bring their A game. It may be close for awhile, but we just don't have the horses to win this one.

Why are they even playing? The NBA has gone from ahead of the game to a joke on this. Thanks for the G leaguers I guess. Go Wolves.

Russell
Beasley
McDaniels
Layman
Reid

Uhh, not quite the adjustment from Chris Finch that I was hoping for, but maybe he'll figure it out mid-game...

Nathan Knight is better than Jake Layman. Agreed?
