Malik Beasley suspended
Malik suspended 12 games for his off the court actions this offseason.
At least this happened in a lost season

That's a bit more than I expected.
But I'm sure it's not the worst thing for the Wolves front office.
"But we've only had (xx) games to judge Towns, Russell and Beasley" on the court together. Things are gonna be different next season!" ... while Gersson Rosas strokes his lucky rabbit's foot hoping/praying that the team gets to keep the pick and he gets yet another crack at landing a haymaker.

Because I know the world that we live in is increasingly sensitive I'm going to preface this by saying that I don't support or condone what Malik Beasley did. However, 12 games seems a bit much when compared to past suspensions for players that committed comparable wrongdoings. Like kek said, at least this kind of a mishap is being dealt with during a lost season.
The bigger story for me is who gets the bulk of those minutes when Beasley is out. Anthony Edwards is already playing full starter minutes at this point so my hope is that Jaylen Nowell gets a big bump to his minutes total and starting status. Let's get a look at him playing next to better players. If he can keep making threes at a respectable rate and be opportunistic with his drives and in transition then he could firmly entrench himself in the rotation for the future.

I have a feeling Culver's ankle will suddenly be 100% better.

On that, Culver was active yesterday. Finch said he would play 15 minutes. He played 0

Can't wait until the Wolves get the band back together... win 3 out of 5 games against depleted teams... and we're told that it's proof that next year is gonna be totally different.
Rosas took over a 36 - 46 team and basically said it sucked... only to put the league's worst team on the court over the past two seasons. Getting through at least four years as a top NBA exec regardless of your performance seems like a breeze nowadays.
[Note: I'd be interested to know how much say the Wolves had in the timing of the suspension...]

Gersson Rosas: "Only 12 games? 12 games isn't enough! Come on, Adam. Have a backbone and really bring down the hammer!"
Those ping pong balls are calling his name.

Anybody read Britt Robson today in The Athletic?
When the time comes next fall for those inevitable Promise of Hope fluff stories... about no franchise in the history of pro sports going through so much turmoil... I have a sneaky feeling Robson won't be playing along.
