A New Beginning (Wolves vs. Thunder)

Post by ItsJustSoSab »

I'm dipping into Tim's kool aid today and staying away from Abe's doomsday thread. Even though most of the players are the same as last year with the addition of Gobert I feel that this is a new beginning with Wolves fans. After all these years of just hoping rookies performed well, or hoping players took a leap forward (which they never did), or that we were still relevant come All Star Break time, or that our GMs wouldn't eat their own ear wax, or that Glen would pull his head out of his ass....finally we can start the season with the hope that we can be Championship contenders. It's refreshing. Will it happen? Who knows. So, let's all just enjoy the ride and the fact we won't have Draft threads halfway through the season!

The Wolves could win zero games, fold, move to Vancouver and you'd still be positive Tim

I was worried Gobert forgot to dunk for a sec. Nice pass by KAT!

I love KAT looking to set other guys up. I always thought that was an under-utilized part of his game.

Good thing we are playing a team that can't shoot -- they have had a number of open looks.

All these early Gobert touches is just as much about giving him a big bear hug and ingratiating him as it is for pure basketball reasons. This will pay dividends in other ways hopefully.
