The Clippers needed a fall guy. It wasn't going to be Kawhi Leonard or Paul George.

Doc said after last season (2018-2019) was the most fun he has had coaching ever. I bet it was quite a change to go from coaching a bunch of good NBA players to 2 all NBA guys that the team understandably had to revolve around. Doc has done that too but yeah.

Meanwhile it's another good NBA coach available. It's like raining good coaches this offseason. It will be interesting to see who the Clippers get and where Doc lands.

I have no sources, but my gut feeling says Doc Rivers ends up in Philadelphia or no where at all this season.

The basketball world was universally praising Rivers in 2019 for what he did with that Clippers team. They were predicted to win 33 - 36 games... they won 48 games.

Things can change quickly for NBA coaches... with superstars on the roster.

Yuuuup. I'm not too worried about Doc though he will be fine.

Why am I the only one pining for a Mike Brown hire? Cmon. He's the perfect fit for this joke of a team.

It turns out that my gut feeling was right. Do we think Rivers will be a good fit with the Sixers? At least he's back in the Eastern Conference.

Yep you nailed it. Doc is a good coach I think one positive is he has worked with a few different passing PGs which I think helps Simmons. Having a new experienced voice As coach might be good there.

In a league that's so woke and media members complaining about lack of equality it's crazy that star players will stand aside and watch quality coaches get fired instead of taking ownership of their own failures that may have lead to said firings.
