Doc said after last season (2018-2019) was the most fun he has had coaching ever. I bet it was quite a change to go from coaching a bunch of good NBA players to 2 all NBA guys that the team understandably had to revolve around. Doc has done that too but yeah.
Meanwhile it's another good NBA coach available. It's like raining good coaches this offseason. It will be interesting to see who the Clippers get and where Doc lands.

The basketball world was universally praising Rivers in 2019 for what he did with that Clippers team. They were predicted to win 33 - 36 games... they won 48 games.
Things can change quickly for NBA coaches... with superstars on the roster.

I have no sources, but my gut feeling says Doc Rivers ends up in Philadelphia or no where at all this season.

It turns out that my gut feeling was right. Do we think Rivers will be a good fit with the Sixers? At least he's back in the Eastern Conference.
