Kat good as gone

Post by kekgeek »

Board favorite Darren Wolfson reported yesterday he has heard from a really good player in the NBA agent that KAT is good as gone in Minnesota.

Highly, highly doubt that.

Edit: That's even more reason to take James Wiseman.

While this may be a very questionable rumor, I'd be fine if we traded him. I went full Abe last season and concluded what he had long ago - you can't build a contender around an offensive oriented Center that doesn't play defense, no matter how good he is on offense. The reason is because a great offensive Center has less impact on team offense than a great offensive guard or wing and a poor defensive Center has more impact on team defense than a poor defensive guard or wing.

The fact remains he would yield us a significant return and finding Centers that can set picks, play some defense, and rebound has never been cheaper in today's NBA. Hell, Naz Reid isn't super far off from being a 20-25 MPG stopgap.

A really good player that is friends with him told an agent who told Wolfson. Quite the six degrees of separation of sources. Also Booker is supposed to be working his way onto our team, not trying to get KAT on his lol.

A friend of mine said that his cousin who went to high school with a girl that hooked up with Giannis Antetokounmpo said that his dream destination is the cold Minnesota tundra and he's coming here next summer to win a championship.

I think KAT dating Jordan Woods is a fairly good indication that his long term life probably wont be in Minnesota. I cant see how she wouldnt be influencing him to move to New York or LA. She is an influencer after all.

Finally, more draft picks, more hope! Winning is overrated!

Whos Jordan Woods?

I disagree you can't win with KAT. It's not about one player, it's about the team. Kevin Love won an NBA Title. But I bet people said we couldn't win with him either. It's about getting as many good-great players as you can. Not counting on or blaming one player. There is some truth to having a wing oriented team is better, but I'll take every All Star player at every position. Heck they don't need to play defense either.

I'd take a hypothetical lineup of-

Irving
Harden
Booker
Durant
KAT

And take my chances, though with one ball it would be interesting to see players egos have to take a back seat. lol

I guess the point is, KAT's salary isn't stopping the Wolves from drafting the next Murray, Herro or Doncic. You just have to simply do it.

Jordyn Woods is apart of that Kardashian clan. Best (former) friend of one of the young Kardashians

Oh dang, so KAT is going Hollywood. I think a Kardashian was dating Trsitan Thompson I think. I don't know about that stuff though. I wouldn't read too much into who he is dating. I don't think it matters much.
