Bol Bol with 16 pts 10 rebs 6 blks. In first exhibition today against the wizards. He was excellent.

The shortest guy they started was 6'9 Grant

Yep. Both Bol Bol and Michael Porter were high upside, homerun swings taken by the Denver front office. They've seen the payoff this season from Porter and the future looks bright with Bol Bol too.

Nuggets started Jokic, Grant, Millsap, Bol Bol, a d Plumlee. Love the experimental approach in scrimmage games. I'd love to see a size reversal around the league where more teams go big to counterbalance the small ball trend.

Injury risk and all there was no way he should have slipped that far. He's already better than our stiff draft pick in the top 10.

Lol who even plays for the Wizards with Wall and Beal out? That's a G League game.

Agreed. Hope Bol lasts longer than his father. Similarly I hope Tacko Fall does well in Boston.

Shockingly, Manute Bol played parts of 10 NBA seasons.

But he is shooting 36% in 2 scrimmages against fairly poor overall talent. At 7'4" or whatever, not sure I crown him king yet.

That is shocking. I thought it was closer to 5.

Well the guy had some usefulness. His rookie year he averages 5 blocks a game. A couple year later he led the league with 4.3. His per 36 career average for blocks was a ridiculous 6.4 and he didn't have some sort of insane foul rate either.

Michael Porter Jr had 37 and 12 tonight. Seems like Denver is just going with talent and ignoring injury concern. If they hit on Porter and Bol Bol their franchise is sitting pretty for many years.
