Re: ESPN Top 100 players
Didn't expect to see DeAaron Fox rise so fast. Liked him at Kentucky but figured him to be a tweener without a role.
Where are all the Wolves players?

Re: ESPN Top 100 players
Obviously, there will be problems on any such list. Obviously, this is more of an ESPN marketing ploy than any serious analytical basketball tool.
So we can quibble about many of the names on that "ranking," including the two Wolves "stars."
But it's still pretty sad on many levels nonetheless.

Re: ESPN Top 100 players
Wolves have 3 players in the top 100
23: KAT
69: DLO
93: Rubio
Some of my takeaways
- Obviously the goal for ESPN is to make crazy lists so it gets people talking, so obviously this list is going to be crazy
- I think it is crazy that Dlo is ranked behind Ball and Lavine personally. Think it is a joke that he is ranked behind Ball. I would have Dlo ranked above Lavine just because they are similar type players but at least Dlo has made an All Star and lead his team to the playoffs. Also think it is funny that Porter is above both Dlo and Lavine when they are all 3 negatives in the advance analytics but Porter hasn't put up the raw numbers that Dlo and Lavine have put up.
-Derozan has become so criminally underrated after he has been overrated for years.
-Sabonis is underrated also.
-Zion at 19 is a joke. I think Zion is going to be great but being ranked 19 right now off of 24 games is really bad. Over players like Kat who has made an all nba team, Westbrook who still a great player.
-Think Bam being ranked 13 is bad also just because I don't think he can be the best player on a playoff team. I do like Bam though just don't think he is better then Kat or Embiid.
-Overall the goal of ESPN is to create clicks

Re: ESPN Top 100 players
I think I got the biggest kick out of Kentavious Caldwell Pope.
It's amazing how much the narrative changes when you're suddenly supporting two of the league's top 5 players on a championship team...

That was also a good one also. Better then Derozan and Aldridge

Re: ESPN Top 100 players
These ESPN lists are routinely laughable. Zion Williamson at 19. Marcus Smart at 37. P.J. Tucker at 72. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope at 77. Those are just a few that I found absurd besides the obvious jabs at Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell. Both are better than where this ESPN list ranked them.
Re: ESPN Top 100 players
The Russel one was pretty bad. Towns is pretty close to where he has preformed. You could make the arguments for a few spots higher for Towns, but ultimately its pretty close as I see it. Russel you could make arguments that he is 20-30 spots off. If only these lists did really become bulletin board material that actually motivated Wolves' players.
Re: ESPN Top 100 players
Damn I guess we should have traded for Aaron Gordon!!!! Lol these lists are so great.

I can't wait to see which Wolf is in the top 10 tomorrow!
