GDT: Minnesota vs. Denver
Let's get right to it. Nikola Jokic was questionable, but is playing tonight for the Nuggets as they look to win their sixth consecutive game. D'Angelo Russell and Josh Okogie are out for the Wolves, but Patrick Beverley will play. Minnesota looks to go over .500 yet again with a key win at home. The Wolves were favored by 4.5 points hours ago before Jokic's status was determined, but with him being active that number has squeezed to just 2.0 points.
Simply, this is another winnable game and it comes against a team directly ahead of them in the standings. These are the games that matter more at the end of the season, especially in terms of seeding. Minnesota needs to secure the dub tonight and close the gap between the play-in tournament and a top-six seed.
_______
Also, I'm getting concerned about a board favorite's absence or unusual inactivity as of late. Hopefully, Lipoli makes an appearance here sooner rather than later if for no other reason than to let us know he's alright. Make no mistake, there's nothing wrong with taking a break and stepping away for a while. I just hope he's doing well, and in the event that he sees this -- we miss you buddy!

I forgot to add that Denver is on the front end of a back-to-back. They'll head to Utah after this one for a late game on TNT tomorrow night. That may not matter, but it's worth mentioning.

Patrick Beverley, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Karl-Anthony Towns will be your Wolves starters tonight.
The Nuggets counter with Monte Morris, Will Barton, Aaron Gordon, Jeff Green, and Nikola Jokic.

For those that weren't aware, it was reported this evening that Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels made the Rising Stars game. Edwards was a no-brainer, but cool to see McDaniels get some appreciation. I think it's somewhat valuable for young guys to experience All-Star weekend and be around basketball's elite players.

What was that site you said was good for streaming?
It is odd that Lip isn't active, especially after being a season ticket holder through all the dog shit years. Also, what ever happened to LST and Khans?? God damn pandemic is ruining everything.

The Joker's got it going early tonight. Minnesota needs to bring their A-game.

Sweet pocket pass from Anthony Edwards there. He's improving in that area. Jarred Vanderbilt blew the bunny. He needs to get better at scoring at the rim and in the painted area. This has been a season-long issue.

Jaylen Nowell's a shoota shoota tonight. Good to see him bury a triple early.
Re: GDT: Minnesota vs. Denver
Jokic is a really smart defender.
