That was an All-NBA level performance from Karl-Anthony Towns in the first half. Sending a message tonight.

It's been refreshing watching KAT recently without all the histrionics!

I've never seen him as non-emotional as he was against Portland. It was like he flipped a switch and turned himself off.

I don't know if you guys watched the halftime show but Barkley saying Kat should never take any 3s is one worst takes I've ever heard.

I don't mind a fired up KAT, it's the whiny, flailing, bitching KAT that I don't enjoy watching.

Agreed. This is what D'Angelo Russell said about Karl-Anthony Towns' antics after the frustrating game against Atlanta.
"Karl like that shit. Karl like that. I'm saying like, he likes that rah rah. Know what I mean? I realize he likes that, but it's a fine line between where it effects the game... You can say as much as you want, but I can't do it for him. He's a smart guy, he knows what he's doing. He knows what he's saying. It might effect the team. Like I said, it's a fine line of being solid."
When KAT loses his composure, other guys on the team are more capable of doing the same. That's when the game feels like it slips away. He sets the tone in that regard. When he's locked in and competing, there's less bitching from everyone and they're usually beating their opponent on both ends of the floor. Maybe he just needed to hear it from one of his best friends for it to really register because he's been locked in since then even in games where he didn't have it going offensively. Just play and let it happen how it's supposed to. He's been awesome tonight, especially.

Really worried about Russel leg. He's playing but ever since he fell down in the first he's been short on all his shots and his been on the bike when he comes out of the game.

Missed two consecutive free throws after that play. It's been on my mind as well.
