GDT: Wolves vs. Jazz
Utah is favored by 9.5 points tonight. This game should be a good barometer to see if Minnesota's talent level is up to par. The Jazz are nothing special in my mind, but they are firmly in the playoff mix, which is more than this franchise can say at any given time during this millennium.
I'm hoping for a close game and continued signs of improvement from the young guys. Stealing a win tonight would be huge because we have a scheduled loss tomorrow night against the Lakers.
Thoughts?

Ryan is threatening to move off my nice list and onto my naughty list. Again, I'm hoping his confidence in Layman is justified, like it wasn't in game 1.

Don't worry. It's only a matter of time before Josh Okogie is the full-time starting four and Jarrett Culver takes over Jake Layman's starting spot at the three.

The Lakers injury report lists Anthony Davis as questionable for Sunday's game against Minnesota because of a right calf contusion.
So, you're saying there's a chance!?

I think it's going to be an ugly evening for the Wolves. Utah's a very good team. Most of their guys played together all last season and they had the benefit fo playing fairly recently in the playoff bubble. They're also playing at home in front of 1500 fans. :). Seriously, we should all prepare ourselves mentally for a really bad stretch of games for the Wolves, starting with tonight's game against the Jazz.

:)
I thought the Wolves chemistry improved over the course of the Detroit game. Let's see if that can continue into tonight.

In Madison for the holidays, of course I can't stream the game with my xfinity subscription, so annoying. Anyone have ways to watch the game?

It looks like you can buy single games, or monthly subscriptions at nba.com under the NBA League Pass tab. I will probably try it out when I spend some time down in Texas next year...

League pass is free for a week, I believe.
