Interesting. I've said before that I don't know that Knight has the make up to be an effective NBA player (seems "happy just to be here" when I watch him at games), but he is a big body who was a very effective player at William and Mary and surprisingly effective last season with us...albeit mostly in mop up minutes. I'm going to give TC the benefit of the doubt on this one and hope Knight can be an effective 15th man when called upon to take some minutes from our other bigs (and hopefully not often)

Speaking of guys who always seemed happy just to be here, I was surprised to see Smilin' Wes Johnson reappear as a player development coach for the Clippers. Would you like your young guys developing like Wes???

When I see Knight play on the court he plays pretty physical and doesn't play like a guy just happy to be there. He gets fouled a lot per minute and last year fouled a ton. He actually plays with an edge.

Wes Johnson is a hell of a pitching coach. :)

Ok in all seriousness the reality is Wes Johnson was drafted too high and despite having a limited offensive game he ended up going on to have a decent NBA career as a wing defender often on playoff teams.
