Wiggins will play for Canada at FIBA

Post by thedoper »

And his coach is going to be Nick Nurse. The Wiggins to Toronto momentum is happening. I have seen the future on this for a while.

I think this is a good thing for Wiggins. Maybe he has a new fire under him. I know he had a bad relationship with his old coach but this has to be a good sign that he wants to play basketball for the love of the game here

Please don't say anything positive about Wiggins. It's no longer allowed.

I do agree with you though, but I would never say that publicly.

Honestly this comes as a bit of shock. Like other this could be good for him. Nick Nurse coaching is a good thing why wouldn't you want to play for him right? I think Wiggins needs to get out there and just ball and this could be an opportunity to do that for a smart coaching staff. It will be interesting what their roster look like and what role Wiggins plays. I don't see how it hurts. This will be a chance for Toronto to either want Wiggins...or REALLY not want him. Lol

Last time he played, he was their best player and I think an all tournament selection.

If you don't know, triano benched wiggs at the end of the final game to bring in a more seasoned player off the bench. The vet went on to foul a player and Canada lost by those fts.

Wiggs was upset and did not play for Canada in any event until now.

This is gonna be like when Gorgui Dieng turns into Kevin Garnett on the Senegal National Team and then comes back as... Gorgui Dieng.

Man , he's really hated by Minnesota fans.

Read posts of people hoping he blows his knee out playing for Canada to people claiming he's only playing for Canada so he can skip practices.

Any other wolf playing for the national team?

Dieng? Kat?

Those posts are disgusting. They come from pathetic little pea brains. No one should EVER hope a player gets hurt. I'm not a big Wiggins fan, but I hope he leads Canada to a championship and then suddenly becomes the elite NBA player he was expected to be when drafted when he plays for the Wolves next season. Or maybe the Wolves can swap Wiggins for Bradley Beal. :)

Plot twist. Rosas says that he hasn't heard about Wiggins playing for Canada and Jon K is reporting that Wiggins hasn't committed to playing.
