Finals Survey

Post by Coolbreeze44 »

Some questions to ponder. Feel free to answer any or all.

1) In what game will Giannis decide to give it a go?

2) What Suns player will be the hardest for the Bucks to Defend?

3) Who is the X factor for each team in the series?

4) Is it necessary for the Bucks to win one of the first two games in Phoenix?

5) Who do you favor in the matchup of starting guards?

6) Are the Bucks at a disadvantage with the relatively short turnaround before game 1

7) Will Chris Paul's flopping drive CoolBreeze nuts?

8 Will the winner of any game score less than 100 points?

9) Series outcome if Giannis is close to 100%

10) Series outcome if Giannis is limited

The Suns have made it to the finals with Booker being relatively quiet . He's had a 40 point game and maybe one 30. Just seems like he is bound to go off. I think he has that "it" factor. I'm excited to see him up his aggressiveness in this series while making his mark as an elite player .
Go Suns!

In this demolition derby of a playoff year where the last car still running wins, it's all about Giannis. I see Phoenix is a -185 favorite to win the series. Those are higher odds than most of us would expect, so that tells me the oddsmakers think Giannis will not even be close to 100%...because if he is, I see this as dead even and a playoff series for the ages. Really sad if he can't go because he is a terrific player and seemingly an even better guy.

This is a fun series for me because I like both teams. I like the Bucks a little more so I'll be cheering for them, but I don't carry the same Chris Paul hate that many NBA fans have so I won't be unhappy if the Suns prevail.

Who can name the only lottery pick in the Bucks' rotation without looking it up?

Brook Lopez

How about that? Their only lottery pick is 33 years old and was brought in as a free agent for about $3 million (he still makes less than Beasley or Rubio)! And he's probably the biggest splash the Bucks have made in free agency, as they are largely home grown...no Super Team full of opportunists here. Pretty easy to cheer for this team.

I was reading yesterday that if Giannis was 100%, the Bucks would be favored. That worries me because somehow Vegas must know something. But you may never be in this position again in your career, especially playing for Milwaukee. Take a shot, brace up, and give it a go. You have all offseason to heal.

I suspect a loyal Bucks fan like you might risk a honeybee or two to win $180 here...

Yeah, I'm surprised at that price.

Unless Giannis is feeling really good they should sit him at least game 1. I would want him as good as he could get for other games and it's possible the Bucks could win that game without him. Unlikely? Yes but it's also game 1 not an elimination game.

The Suns have been fortunate facing teams that have had injuries but they have played well this playoffs and if healthy Chris Paul Booker and Ayton are a pretty nice 3 top players (who seem to compliment each other) and then the other guys play their game/roles well. If Payne is back healthy and being effective that adds to this being a legit good team regardless of who they are facing. It will be an interesting matchup.

I completely agree, monster...unless G is completely healthy, I would rest him in Game 1. It's also not the end of the world if they rest him until Game 3 next Sunday in Milwaukee...they still have two chances to steal a game in PHX in games 5 or 7 if they hold serve at home, and a healthy Giannis is critical to that goal.
