Time to be aggressive

Post by Porckchop »

With Paul heading out of Houston , the Warriors dealing with injuries and Lakers in a state of turmoil shouldn't the Wolves put the 3 year plan on hold and take advantage of the current state of the league? Maybe Russell isn't a great long term solution but maybe the right moves are to make this team better in the short term . The windows small but it's definitely open next year.

Don't think we have the assets to make a legit push. Now I think adding Dlo gives us a chance to be really good in the future if DLo and Kat continue to develop but I don't think we are a title contender. Don't have the assets at the moment.

Hate to bring it up, but got a feeling this is what Thibs was thinking with Butler, if Butler was on this team right now and every thing went smoothly off the court, talent wise the wolves might of had the best roster in the Western Conference. Just saying.

I thought Paul said he was staying in Houston.
