Once upon a time I really liked Battle as a prospect. He never shot the ball well from 3 after his rookie year but as a guy that probably ends up as an affiliate player in Iowa? Sounds good to me.

Once again odds are Battle is nothing in the NBA , but can't win the lottery if you don't play and Syracuse fans say he is a gamer. If he doesn't stick who cares it happens but they tried

He's a highly paid executive of a team into which I've invested a lot of money, time and emotion. He's fair game for criticism and I think he messed up royally last night. Signing Tyus Battle does nothing but fill out a summer league roster in my view. It's a blah move on top of bad moves. Hence my criticism. You can disagree with me but cut out your smarmy little personal jabs.

OK, I've settled down. I was grumpy about last night's draft, and then I had a horrible day at work today. That kind of pushed me over the edge. :)
