Soft tank back on. They can't fire them if they don't ever play together. I think he is hurt though

Well this is getting bizarre...are KAT and DLO destined to never play together? KAT comes back from a long absence, and immediately DLO goes on the DL. You can't make it up.

A bad break for DLO, but not being a big proponent of his, I'm not entirely heartbroken by this news. Ryan was going to start him at PG and I just don't see that as the best position for him or this team. Here's my wish. Rubio and J-Mac (or a free agent PG if they have to manage J-Mac's 2-way games) handle the PG duties in DLO's absence and our big three starting scorers (Ant, Beas and KAT) thrive. DLO comes back healthy and, not wanting to upset the apple cart, Ryan eases him back into the lineup at SG...with either him or Beas providing a spark off the bench. We'll see. I know some of you aren't very hopeful about our prospects with Ricky running the point, but I'm curious to see if he can replicate what he did with the Suns last season.

So how does Rosas handle the PG situation? Does he ask Ryan to play J-Mac every game knowing that will make him ineligible toward the end of the season? Does he go out and get a free agent PG to spell J-Mac now and then. Or does he let someone like Nowell, Culver or (gasp) Ant handle the backup PG duties. What do you think?

Yep hard to not see that management has written off this season. Might as well get DLo healthy for next season and develop the young guys.

Dlo being out for a month or 2. Means Rosas and Saunders are going to be back.
Saunders literally said today, DLO is day to day. I think Dlo is hurt but I think they pushed him to have surgery. If dlo and Kat don't play. Saunders and Rosas job is safe because they will have the excuse

Jordan McLaughlin can play in a maximum of 50 games this season. He's played in 15 games so far. That means that J-Mac still has 35 games left on his two-way deal.

Minnesota has 48 games left on their schedule. That means that McLaughlin is incapable of playing in 13 of them on his current deal. What could happen? Either D'Angelo Russell returns from injury before the end of the season and the Wolves don't have to make any additional moves, or the Wolves will give McLaughlin a NBA deal to finish the year.

I highly, highly doubt anyone else will be brought in to provide minutes at point guard.

If he needs surgery, he needs surgery. I don't think this is a tanking strategy. I always say, the best ability is availability. So in my mind this makes DLO even less valuable. A below average NBA athlete now with knee problems. If it's just a loose body, it depends on how big it is and where it came from. I've had both knees scoped to remove loose bodies, and was able to come back pretty quickly. I'm guessing he could come back with about 25 games to play. It will be interesting to see the strategy when he's ready.

Kecker, if you were running the show would their jobs be safe? There is no rule that says they can't be fired because DLO and KAT don't play together. I get what you're saying but nothing would surprise me.

Gersson Rosas and Ryan Saunders should both be fired. But will they be? No shot.

I don't think Ryan will be coaching this team next year. Rosas is another story.
