I haven't made many posts this year, the old saying if you ain't got nothing nice to say don't say nothing at all as my reasoning.
This is the first year I haven't really watched every game since Marbury's rookie season. I've come to realize this year that this franchise doesn't deserve such loyalty from me. I've loved this team as a kid and now at 35 years old and many years of watching them, I'm left with a sour taste in my mouth.
I just needed to vent a little and say how extremely disappointed I am that this franchise has nothing to be excited about. Further more they will be sold in the near future and will they stay in MN?
Bruh :(

Re: Just Venting
KAT - A massive talent that has some flaws but has been wasted so far and a competitive roster seems so far away that his career will likely be wasted in MN.
DLO - He can score but you'd be hard pressed to convince me that his overall game and price tag is more valuable than J-Mac's overall game at his price tag.
Beasley - I like his effort, a bit undersized but his best role is likely as a 6th man.
J-MAC - Probably the player I like the most on this team, he can really play and doesn't get the burn that he should. He's the talent we mined and found yet we don't have him on a long term team friendly deal which really highlights the front office in a negative way.
Rubio - How did the Suns get decent production out of him? He looks like a shell of himself from last year. He looks more like a crafty mens league player than an NBA player.

Hernangomez - Looks like a negative asset.
Jake Layman - same as above.
Ed Davis - At least he is expiring.

The Youth
ANT - Abundance of physical talent but he sure does seem raw at this point.
J. McDaniels - I actually like what I have seen and do see room for him to become much more.
J. Culver - He'll show a flash here and there but overall you have to be down on him ever becoming anything that makes a difference.
J. Okogie - Love the effort but he's a role player at best.
J. Vanderbilt - Like J-Mac a talent that should be locked up at a cheap price and developed but yet is on a 1 year deal.
N. Reid - An above average backup center but if your not competitive and your best player plays the same position it's probably best to explore a trade.
J. Nowell - I hold out some hope but his best outcome is likely instant offense off the bench.

This roster, the future draft picks we hold or don't hold. It's just frustrating to say the least.

Good stuff here Tactical.
I've said it many times before, but this roster and the performance of its inhabitants is....odd.
Once you remove KAT, DLO, and Beasley from the equation, what is the rank order of the rest of our players in terms of individual production and team impact? I mean, throw all their names in a hat and just start grabbing them out at random. It's that effed up. And some would say DLO's name should be in that hat too.
And what the hell happened to Ricky Rubio? I agree he's played horribly, but how do you come here just a few months removed from a career shooting year in Phoenix and suddenly turn into the worst shooter in the NBA!? Only the Wolves can pull this off.
