Wolves have postponed

Post by kekgeek »

Because of contact tracing, the #Timberwolves don't have the necessary 8 players to play tonight's game, per @NBAPR. So game vs. Memphis is off.

Still don't understand why any leagues would start till there's a vaccine available for them. It's looking like they might push spring training a month back and start games May 31st for MLB.

Money, they need 72 games to get paid in full and they want to play in the Olympics

If it's like baseball owners make more money when there's less regular season games because they pay players less. All they care about is playoff revenue.

I've come to the conclusion that the only break the Wolves will ever catch involves a player's bones.

It amazes me after all these years how you can still predict the Wolves typical draft position with the formula (total number of super star players + 1). Then every time they're lucky enough to draft in the top 2 (minus the KAT year) it is when there is literally no sure fire super star players at the top of a weak draft. You couldn't write a movie about the Wolves because it would be harder to believe than the most outlandish SciFi movie!

Edit: Speaking of SciFi, I'm going to use my now unscheduled game time to watch a Star Trek movie for the millionth time!

That's gotta be incredibly tough on Karl after losing 7 family members. As a healthy guy in his 20s, it's not as serious as some other situations, and there may even be a silver lining. At most, he misses 5 games, and more likely less than that as more Wolves' games get canceled. And 10 days more healing for his wrist can't be bad.

And really- were we going to win any games the next 10 days anyway without Juancho  ?
