RASHAD MCCANTS. Soul-stealing Devil Man.
Eddie Griffin. Hated his game. Couldn't shoot.
Troy Hudson. Hated his game. Wouldn't pass.
Shabazz Muhammad. Seeing a trend?
JR Rider. Yet?
Mark Madsen. THAT game. Unforgivable. Made 9 shots (fgs + fts) in his final 2 seasons combined!
Marko Jaric.
Joe Smith. So many penalties for so little production.
Ndudi Ebi.
Darko Milicic.

I agree with all but one.

I actually loved watching Eddie Griffin.

A whirlwind of highlight plays mixed with nothingness. When he was on, he was exciting as hell. Some of the blocks - woah.

I'd replace him with Wes Johnson - smiling non-assassin.

You also forgot this one..

Smiling Wes is right on the cusp of this list. Imagine taking a guy at 23 #4 in the NBA draft... when he NEVER averaged 17 ppg. Not even in high school. Shame, Wolves.

But don't push me on this Eddie Griffin thing.

I think he was "on"... once? He shot 83 - 287 (29%) on three pointers for the Wolves. He was a "big" who shot 36.9% fg in his 2+ years with the Wolves. Even in his one overrated year in college, he couldn't shoot.

Hah, you're right. I'm probably remembering about two games where Eddie Griffin looked like the standout. Some asinine blocks. That's it.

Wes gave me none of that.

Not only was he 23, never was good, but he also played in that Syracuse system (see: no defense). There was no reason to touch that guy.

Imagine trading 3 draft picks to go up to get get Eddie Griffin... Wes Johnson is at least alive and still in the league partly because he does defend. #lowbar. Eddie Griffin wasn't good but his life is a sad story.

Rick Mahorn. Our very first player. Remember his disgust when he heard the news. Every player drafted since then has had the same reaction.

1. Andrew Wiggins -- Unrealized potential. Underwhelming effort. Model of inconsistency. Roller coaster. Max contract. Excuses and failed promises. Combine all of this and he's deservingly at the top.

2. Wesley Johnson -- A mistake from the beginning. All smiles and no balls. One of the most underrated draft mistakes of the century. I'm still baffled that he was a lottery pick coming out of Syracuse.

3. Shabazz Muhammed -- Predictably awful. Going left at all times regardless of the defense. Selfish on the court. Great motor with super little NBA skill to be applied. Difficult to watch. Kind of a weird personality.

4. Darko Milicic -- Another one of David Kahn's failures. Blessed with size, skill, and talent, but just never gave a shit. Will be known for being a bust his entire life. Collected those checks.

5. Marko Jaric, Joe Smith, J.J. Barea, Rashad McCants, Gorgui Dieng, Anthony Bennett, etc. There are plenty of candidates, unfortunately.

Every single draft pick up to Garnett. Almost every pick after that. The problem with this team has been a near complete disaster of scouting and drafting, when we actually had picks that weren't sold or lost by Glen's cheating.
