Rosas Regime

Post by khans2k5 [enjin:6608728] »

This is looking like a big ole F- so far from our new GM. He trades up in the draft to get potentially the worst shooter in the NBA after he clearly whiffs getting the guy he moved up to get. He trades away a 3rd of the roster for 1 pick, no other future assets and we literally don't have a PG left that isn't a G League player on the roster. The only competent pieces we had around Towns and Wiggins are now all gone so we are the worst team in the league right now. The Saunders hire looks abysmal given the how this team looks on the court prior to this trade and there is no prayer he can turn what we just got back into a viable NBA product. What a fucking disaster? We're literally living through Kahn version 2.0 right now. I'm just absolutely baffled and don't know what to do anymore. This is like watching the worst rube that calls into KFAN wheeling and dealing for a professional basketball team. Pretty sure we just hit rock bottom tonight and that's saying something given that this team has lived in rock bottom for the better part of 20 years.

I'm gonna sit back and see how this plays out before I co-sign your post.

But, I do have the pen by my side...

Abe, I think it can only get worse. Rock bottom may still be coming.

I'm hoping for a team of Kahn at GM, Thibs as head coach, and Smitch as lead assistant.

So you all didn't want us to trade Covington?

A little confused on the timing of this post. I think it's a solid haul

Well he's overrated for sure, but what did we really accomplish?

It is all based on how Beasley plays. If Beasley is not good like he is playing this year. The wolves traded one of the best contracts in the NBA for a mid 1st in what is considered the worst draft since 01

Maybe. I'm not as "hell has been unleashed" about Russell as you are.
Heck, at this point, I'd opt for a few brief glimpses of hope in that sort of trade than the deck furniture overhaul we're getting tonight.

So far, this only puts the Wolves on a different treadmill in the same gym.

So you would prefer no Beasley and 2 picks (3 total) in the worst draft in years?:)
