Some guy named...

Post by TAFKASP »

... Kevin Love is going off tonight, 34 in the 1st quarter. He must have gotten tired at that point because he only has 40 at the end of the 3rd.

7-9 from 3 tonite.
It's scary that they won the ship last year and only now does it seem like their figuring out how to play well and to each others strengths together.
makes it more reasonable to see our guys still finding their way together without a Lebron to carry them.

Love seems to be back to where he was in 13-14 when he was the Wolves' best player. His advanced stats are pretty much at career highs. I'm sure LST is thrilled to see it!

Credit to Lue/LeBron - not sure which is actually the head coach - for getting Love the touches his talent level deserves.

Cleveland and Golden State appear to be on a collision course for the Finals.....again.

It's killing me, Q...my dislike for the guy knows no bounds. I watched his tight-lipped, fake humility interview after his big 1st quarter this week, and I almost threw up. He's been putting up big stats recently, but I will continue to cheer against him every night. Just a despicable human being.

I dislike the guy no question but that's either hyperbole or unbelievably harsh!

It really killed me when the Cavs traded for Love even though I like the trade for the Wolves. I was happy for the Cavs fans that they got their hometown superstar back and hoped that James would win a title for them.... then they traded for Love. I would be perfectly happy if they guy never won another game, talk about being torn.

As some washed up band once said, "Love is gonna come at last".

Haha, believe it or not, they (or rather he, since Joey Molland is the only Badfinger guy still alive) were terrific last night. I was prepared to leave at 11:30 after the band I went to see was done, but I decided to stick around for one song...never left until the end!

Living in Vegas it's pretty funny to see all the 60's and 70's bands coming to town and look up how many original members there still are and the number it typically 1, or less. Most times I'd rather go see a tribute/cover band than see an old time original because I think they're more into the music than the originals who've played the hits a couple million times already.

I know, SP...I'm watching The Last Waltz on PBS as my warmup for the Wolves game, and realizing that half of the Band are dead. Um...there may be some underlying factors in the short life span of musicians, I think. Bad hotel food, maybe?
