He knows nothing about defense! It's all because Wig and Kat were coached up in college. Anyone know the count on back slaps and high fives by Tibs last night?

grueling practices were likely to blame, if Thibs would have held lighter practices we magically would have communicated better on defense and been sharper on assignments right the game 1! shame on him

Imagine if we would have beat Philly and Utah, we'd be 9-6 in that stretch and everyone hear would be complaining that Thibs hasn't gotten any coach of the year chatter.

KAT's really been coming on lately. He's had some crazy blocked shots, his rebounding is outstanding, and the last few games he's been doing a lot of damage inside. There just aren't many teams with the length to stop him inside. Now he's starting to make better reads on the double teams too. He's going to be a monster.

He just destroys teams like Dallas and Houston who have no one that can match up with him. He should be similarly as good against Golden State. Still waiting for his outside shot to start falling. At that point he will be off the hook.

As long as he plays inside out he can shoot those bombs as I see it. I just hate that they were becoming so prevalent early in the shot clock off the high pick and roll. I hope there is a legitimate trend for him to fight for inside position even when he is playing bigger lineups. Adams will be a good first step.

Don't pump fake!

Cool, you coach. And others here coach... or play. Shooters are more efficient in rhythm. It's one of the things Rubio brings to the table a bit better than many other guards... he gets it to shooters when and where they want it so there's no hesitation. Towns pump-faking is only faking himself out of a quality shot.

[Note: I play hoops twice a week. One day, it's a free-flowing fast game with quality players. Shots go up quickly. The other night is a much lower level of competition... and teammate. Older guys too. The shots I get are not in rhythm because nothing is really in rhythm in those games. There's less movement and more standing around. All about flow and being loose.]

Towns is shooting 31% from 3. It is more than pump fakes. He misses the ones he just lets fly too. I think it's fair to say he's probably just not a good 3 pt shooter right now and shouldn't be taking a shot that is inefficient for him.

Towns is a fine three-point shooter... when he's taking them in rhythm and when he's taking good ones. The problem this year? He fell in love with that shot early, tries to do too much by head-faking for pump-faking when he's already open, and continued to shoot dumb ones halfway through the season. That goes back to the maturity thing. He'll be fine, but yes, he needs to earn his checks by operating inside.
