Should have won last time - Rockets @ Wolves GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

It was quite remarkable for the Wolves to lose to the Rockets in their last meeting. I seem to remember the odds of the Rockets winning with about a minute left at .2%, or something like like that. I assume Zach is not playing tonight, so we will see what happens. Hopefully we are in position to keep learning how to close out games when we have a lead...

If we do win, I can't wait to hear about how LaVine should be coming off the bench for whatever reason and how his impact isn't all that meaningful. Or that we should go with a bigger lineup to appease Wiggins.

Yeah, I see Zach is inactive. But Eric Gordon didn't make the trip here, so it's a wash, right?!? :)

I wonder who starts tonight? Bazz? Rush? Tyus?

Was checking our splits for wins and losses and the formula seems simple. Wiggins just needs to score above 27 with a 64% TS and a 118 off rtg and the rest of our team can play to their averages. For the most part the way we seem to win this year is if Wiggins plays like Lebron. Simple formula. Go Wolves

Only a matter of time before Ryan Anderson starts hitting those shots. He should not have gotten so many wide open looks already! I'd almost....almost....rather give up an open layup than an open 3 to Houston!

Nice start for Wiggins!

Our rotation and switching on defence is terrible.

We are playing with fire (I mean in a bad way). It's only a matter of time before these guys start making their 3's. How we can allow Ryan Anderson to get that wide open time and again is beyond me.

I don't necessarily disagree, but to some degree, it's like bringing a knife to a gun fight. They are going to keep launching 3's and it just becomes a simple math problem at some point. We either need to turn them over more or just get crazy hot from 3 to match them.

We won the 1st half with d and rebounding. Who's going to make the 3s. Ricky?
