I like the article. Doesn't shy away from the positive and negatives we talk about here. Some fun footage from his summer camp in Toronto too,

I should add that I would be absolutely shocked if Thibs traded Wiggins ever. Through 3 coaches I think its been clear that all of them have been intent on working with him and molding him. We all see his mistakes and deficiencies, but I believe there must be something truly great about his character to have these guys so intently behind him. Which is really what we don't know or see.

Their career success depends on it?

I hear what your saying Doper. For all intents and purposes, Wiggins seems like a good kid with a good off-the-court work ethic and attitude. His physical gifts are unquestionable.

Yet at the end of the day, these things need to translate to on-the-court production. My biggest disappointment by far with our big three, including Wiggins, is the utter lack of defensive improvement, which supposedly gets better with experience. Well, we're in Year 3 of Wiggins/LaVine and Year 2 of Wiggins/LaVine/KAT, and I see zero improvement, and if anything regression, from these guys defensively.

Fun article, doper...well written and on point too. I don't get the impression the author is much of a Thibs fan though. "When he orders a coffee, you feel sorry for the coffee"...funny stuff.

We got a taste of Wig's enormous potential in the first quarter last night. His aggressive offensive rebounding was encouraging to see, and his athleticism was on display. But then we saw the bad, detached Wig at times in the second half...so frustrating. I think most of us believe he can be a 30-point scorer and plus defender in this league...if he wants it badly enough and shows up for the entire game every night. It remains to be seen if Thibs is the right guy to bring out the best in Wig. If not, maybe Thibs' successor can do it, and he'll be around when Wig in in his prime years.

Defense is hard to learn. I see spurts with all three, but Zach himself said on the podcast with Chris Mannix a few days ago that he was never taught off the ball techniques before Thibs. I don't know if that is true but it's a pretty crazy indictment of Sam if it is.
