This sucks, not the release, but just everything that surrounded this.
This window might wind up being just as short as the last one.

Got to imagine that Anthony Brown will be called up

Shabazz Muhammad's off-season starts a little early!
Yeah, have to hope we get a look at Anthony Brown now. I don't have high expectations, but he's earned a chance to prove himself, especially considering the lack of depth we have at the wings. Wiggins and Bjelica desperately need another body to spell them.

Not sure Brown has NBA chops. He's close, but just not sure he's a guy you can have in a 9-man rotation for a playoff caliber team. He won't help us defensively, that I can tell you.

Probably right, but I think he at least has the potential to be a 3/D type. He has a somewhat reliable three-point shot and he has good size and quickness. Will it translate? I don't know, history says no, but the traits are there, hypothetically.
He's been a scorer practically all of his career. At worst, maybe he can provide some opportunistic scoring via open jumpers, attacking close-outs, and transition buckets.
Re: Shabazz is bought out
I don't understand releasing Bazz when we already have an open roster spot and our starting SF is out for probably the rest of the season. I've been intrigued by Anthony Brown, but I wouldn't bet on him being a positive contributor.

Got a feeling he was being a cancer in the locker room. Have no proof but it makes the most sense
