Don't know how to evaluate a G-league game, but he looks quite aggressive there
Re: Justin Patton with another great game
Anthony Brown has been putting up really good numbers for the Iowa Wolves so far this season. Shouldn't we bring him up here for a run given our lack of wing depth now that Bazz has found himself in Thibs' doghouse? I think Brown gets around 40 NBA games on his 2-way contract. If he pans out, the Wolves could sign him to fill our 15th roster spot.

IMHO MGH is the better player.

I'm skeptical that what he's doing in the G-League can translate to the next level, especially his defense. I don't get why Thibs is so opposed to getting someone like MGH or even Brown just a few minutes of spot play just so that they can get their feet wet and we see what we've got.

Re: Justin Patton with another great game
Patton seems to be continuing the super efficient scoring that we saw at Creighton. He has very soft hands and a nice soft touch around the hoop. Otherwise, I don't know how to judge him in terms of the other stuff. He is long and fairly mobile, but the G League is a completely different animal than what he's going to see in the NBA. He definitely needs to get bigger and stronger.

Baffling, isn't it? Sometimes these guys surprise you. Especially with Belly out.
Re: Justin Patton with another great game
I'm watching the game last night and Patton has looked pretty good. His screen and rolls are good. He screened and then rolled for the 3 point play to close the first half. He has thrown some creative passes. One was poorly executed and was stolen hit one was a perimeter bounce pass to a cutting Brown that was quite nice. I don't know how big the Memphis hustle guys are but Patton just looks big and yet seems pretty nimble.
Waspun continues to be a fun player. The guy just is tough athletic and plays hard.
Sean Williams is lighting it up from 3.
Bryson is a guy that could have some potential as a role playing bench guy if he develops. Pretty explosive vertically on both ends and seems to understand his role. He is shooting lights out from 3 when he takes them this year. He is a guy that seems to play bigger than his measurements. 3 and D is his ceiling but there COULD be something there.

There was like 4 seconds left in the 3rd Jordon Crawford gets the ball coming up court looking to get up a shot Waspun knocks the ball away from him just over half court and Crawford recovers with Waspun now we'll behind him he take a couple dribbles and gets off a decent look at a 3 but Waspun gets back to block the shot.
Re: Justin Patton with another great game
Bryson's defense has been terrific here in the 2nd half. There was a transition play where the Histle came down the floor and the guy drove and he quickly moved laterally and drew the charge. He smothered a couple guys when they drove in half court and always seemed to contest guys on the perimeter when they took a 3.
Perry Jones actually has looked plenty decent in the couple games I've seen.
Millsap did his thing.
Patton had a couple big dunk is the 2nd half as the Wolves pulled away in the 4th quarter.
Other than the 3rd quarter the Wolves defense looked much better than it did early on. The played with a lot more pace much of this game as well. Good to see them playing well and getting some wins.
