Will Gophers lose Amir Coffey to NBA after this year?

I was wondering that too. Doesn't look like it on draft boards.

I don't believe so, I don't think he will be a high pick, I see him at minimum a 2 year college player

He's good, but I don't think he's a sure fire NBA player. Exactly the kind of kid you want to recruit to Minnesota. I see him sticking around for at least one more year.

The ultimate lunch pail player. Great teammate with tremendous toughness. Just didn't want to see him shoot from beyond 5 feet. He made Ricky look like Klay Thompson.

Yeah those Gopher teams were great fun. They were all lunch pail players in a lot of ways.

I'm with you on that he is the most nba ish type player since hump but not good enough shooter or scorer or defender to be an NBA player right now. That is not a knock on him either he is the ultimate glue guy he does it all be just not ELITE at any one thing. (Great college player)
