Predict our December record
The Wolves have been a terrible disappointment this year, but there is a narrative being advanced by some here that we just need time to adjust to Thibs' system and that December would be better. I hope so, but I'm very skeptical. We don't know if the Wolves are going to be better this month, but maybe our predictions can be better (since we were ridiculously optimistic in predicting the first 10 games). What will our December record be? Poll closes in three days.

Re: Predict our December record
I've been kicking myself since I let optimism get the better of me with the season win total thread... when I went against my 28 years of better Wolves judgement and picked 42 wins...
So I'm all in on "5 - 10" or worse. Actually... 2 - 13. That's my call.
Whew. Feels better to unload all that optimism. Things were getting weird for me for the past few months.

I would have picked 0-15 just so they would have a chance to exceed my expectations for once. Trophies for everyone!
Re: Predict our December record
I went with an optimistic 6-9 which isn't great but it wouldn't be a disaster either. If they could right the ship and go 7-8 that would be a step in the right direction. Anything better than that would be fantastic.

I think they win 3 games.
We can talk all we want about their talent and potential, but the bottom line is that they aren't as good as we thought they were and when they lose two home games to avererage-ish teams missing major starting players (Favors and Noah/Lee), it's hard to find any nuggets of optimism.

To be fair, the Jazz are still a good team without Favors.

8-7 our first +500 month. One of these days we're going to get a good game out of wig, Zach and KAT all on the same night and we'll be reminded why we cheer.

It looks to me like the schedule is tougher the next 15 games than it was the first 17, and I haven't seen anything to tell me this team is improving. I voted 5-10 or worse, but I'm hoping for 6.

I didn't answer the poll. Instead I'll just say this, I think tomorrow's game is ultra important. If they build on what happened in the 4th quarter from last game and get a win, it could go a long way to them believing they can turn things around. Beat the Knicks and I could see them possibly eeking out 8-7 or 7-8 which would at least keep their chances of making the playoffs alive.
If they lose to the Knicks again then the comeback the other night won't mean a thing. Then I see the next 3 games as sure losses and they probably go about 2-13 or 3-12, season over.
They blew all those leads early in the season and have never recovered. I definitely don't see them recovering in the next 15 games. The best they can do is survive. Bring the Payne.
