The injuries were both to their knees. Ughhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope we are talking bruises, but with Rubio this is really crappy.

While it sucks whenever they miss ANY time, this doesn't sound like any sort of extended issue. Otherwise, I think we'd be hearing about MRIs, X-rays, yada, yada, yada.....That's when it gets scary.

The Golden State game is going to be really ugly if they both aren't at full strength. If they are healthy, though, I think we beat 'em.

More on Wiggins, Wolves GM Milt Newton tells @PAOnTheMic that he expects Andrew Wiggins to play tomorrow against Golden State.

With Rubio's history, I'm a bit nervous. With the media options out there it would be easy to report his condition, unless it really needs to be evaluated. I hope I'm reading too much into this.

@APkrawczynski: Like Wiggins, Rubio is expected to play tomorrow night vs. GSW as well. Mild left hamstring strain, and not knee. Felt better today

@APkrawczynski: Just like the quad strain in preseason, latest soreness for Rubio is expected given body is still adjusting to being back at it.

Again, I believe there is a shift in philosophy from recent years, whereby the team is taking a much more conservative stance on both minutes played and non-serious injuries in the interest of avoiding truly serious injuries or chronic conditions. I'm sure Wiggins and Rubio could have played against Charlotte if they had to and I seriously doubt the players themselves had as much say as it was made out to be.

As a physical therapist, Arnie knows that if you are hurting in one spot, you compensate for it with other muscles, which may in turn lead to a more serious injury. So it's not about preventing further problems at the point of discomfort, but instead preventing a serious problem somewhere else.

I'm no Doctor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. :thumb:

Don't worry everyone, Rubio isn't injury prone, so this is no big deal. He should be back in 6-18 weeks.
