League pass alternative

Post by Benja513 [enjin:11130981] »

Last year I went for the league pass and was constantly frustrated, but when it worked I loved being able to watch any game any night. I'm considering it again but I remember someone posting something about a Scandinavian website that seemed to have a great deal. Anyone have any more information on that?

Ballstreams is the supposed alternative. I haven't used it yet and was thinking about trying it this year. I've heard nothing but good reviews.

I have ballstreams and it is sweet. Just make sure you have a quality internet connection to prevent a ton of buffering.

I'll throw in my 2 cents for ball streams. You get more than just NBA games. I was able to watch some of the NCAA tourney games and they had some of the FIBA tourney games too this last summer. They had most of the NBA summer league games also. You don't have to worry about blackouts and games you don't get to see because they are only on ESPN or something else that's dumb. I don't really feel bad about it not being legal or whatever. The NBA should be perfectly happy that I am watching a bunch of games and even seeing some advertising sometimes when I don't fast forward. Lol I recommend it. The League pass is probably pretty good also but I prefer ball streams for a number of reasons aside from it being cheaper.

I was hoping to watch the game tonight and I may still watch it at some point (no spoilers) but my subscription ended for ball streams today. They still have billing issues and have for weeks now so either you can't renew or it's tricky.I only used it for a year and it was pretty good but now I am not sure I want to give them any money the way things are going.

I suppose I will have to bite the bullet and go with NBA league pass broad band. It sounds like a lot of people aren't happy with the service. I should probably just suck it up and lower my expectations and be happy with what I get. I'll never watch every game anyway so I don't know why I complain about missing a few of them.

Thanks for listening. lol

Phenom or anyone else using Ballstreams--Is it working now?? I tried to resubscribe and it won't let me. I get the message "Registration is closed until we sort out billing issues. Please check back at a later time"

Lucky for you. I am afraid if I had tried to freeze my account at some point I would have gotten stuck in limbo. Oh well I got my money's worth out of my subscription.

Part of me wishes I had gone for the full league pass instead of just one team but oh well.
