After I saw the first video I didn't understand what the big deal was. Now I am a bit more concerned. He knocked someone out and left the scene of the crime. How the NBA and Philly is not investigating is beyond me. Very depressing, and he is a douchebag.

Okafor was at his car ready to leave and then went after this guy. He obviously said something to push Jahlil over the edge and when you do that you deserve to get KTFO. I don't believe in people being able to say what they want and not pay consequences and I believe athletes should be allowed to go after you like any normal person would if you talk enough shit. You can't tell what was said in the video, but that fight was clearly instigated with Jahlil about to leave so as far as I'm concerned the dude got what he deserved. You shouldn't have to wait for someone to punch you to punch back and Jahlil didn't sucker punch him either so it was a clean fight in my book.

This looks like a bunch of dumb stuff. If you are a bigtime athlete and a guy the size of Okafor you should be getting out of those situations not getting physically involved in an altercation with someone even if you are provoked. He should have listened to the guys telling him he didn't need any of that. I admit I wasn't there I don't know what happened but this doesn't look good.

If there are no consequences for your "words" then people could literally say anything and get away with it and that's not ok. Going just by the video clip - Okafor sounded totally ripped (he's not old enough - so shouldn't be drinking). His comments in the video clip - something about "we got money n*gga" etc. are just ridiculous and make him look like a total douche bag. That seemed to be what was making the crowd more emboldened to start cat calling him.

I get what Khans is saying. Dude got what he deserved. Still....we all know you can't do that. When somebody loses a fight these days - they sue. Especially when it's a big pocket athlete who was just bragging about how much money he has. Unfortunate all the way around.
