What's your reaction if the Wolves take Okafor?

Right now it's still most likely we take Towns. But I don't think the rumors about Flip liking Okafor are a smokescreen. And even though I'm a Towns guy, you have to admit, you can't easily dismiss a prospect that could turn out to be one of the best low post players of all time. And as far as defense goes, he's still only 19. Not even close to his man body yet.

So all that said, if Flip surprises everybody and pulls the trigger on Big Jah, how do you react?

(I'm answer B right now, I want Towns but honestly if Flip and company truly believe Okafor is going to be the better player, I'm on board 100%)

I voted as you did, misty, but honestly my vote was probably somewhere between B and C...maybe trusting Flip 90%. He's a smart basketball guy, and if it ends up being Okafor, I know I will be excited adding him to our offense.

I still want Towns, but I'm ready to start churning out pro-Jahlil data if flip goes in that direction.

I voted C. It'll be wait and see.

I prefer Towns, for all the reasons we've shared many times. But Okafor has legit talent/potential too. Maybe there's something else there that the Wolves have seen that we haven't.

But we'll only know if it was the right choice or mistake once the season starts.

I voted C.

First, I won't see it as a big surprise if he takes Okafor. Second, it's only natural that when we debate players we tend to exaggerate the strengths of "our guy" and the weaknesses of "the other guy". That has certainly happened on this board and I have participated in it.

I think Flip would be wrong for taking Okafor over Towns, but I won't view it as an error of epic proportions (at least not at first!). Okafor has some very well-documented strengths and we desperately need size and skill in the paint.

I don't have a clear cut guy. I bounce back and forth between the big three. I don't see how picking Okafor is a mistake. I think he is a great prospect, provided his defense will improve. I hope Flip nails it.

C. I just don't see Flip picking Okafor though. He talks way too much about adding two way players to make that choice. Plus there seems to be a ton of smoke about Oak and his love and desire for LA. It shouldn't be much of a factor but it will be.

I'm between C & D. I think it would be a mistake, but I would try to find a silver lining and hope it works out.

I think the love of the game stuff is enough to completely unhitch from the Okafor bandwagon, if anyone is still on it.

I voted C. I think Towns is the better fit, but I also don't think we can go wrong with either player. They both have their pros and cons.
