Based on the Bulls press release describing how things went south, I highly doubt Flip would take a chance on him here. Thank goodness.

I would never believe anything the Bulls organization releases. Reinsdorf does not share power with anyone. To me the Bulls consistently produced in the light of real struggle. I would jump at the chance to have him coach us, but don't think it would ever happen.

Valid concerns no doubt, stuborness to change rotations, wearing his players down, ignoring injury concerns. But something that I admire about Thibs and those Bulls teams is how hard they played night in night out. The board might be pretty divided on Thibs but I would be in favor of bringing him over. Defense. Loyalty. Hard work.

He just doesn't fit the skill set we have developed. The style we need to play is foreign to Thibs. In addition, I don't want him alienating our young star and making him want to leave in 3 years.

When has anyone tried to leave the Bulls under Thibs?

What skill set is that? Not playing defense?

Thibs needs to come back home to where he started his NBA career. He has unfinished business here. Flip and Kg need to be on the phone with him and get him back here to coach.

Not sure, just know that today's athlete isn't going to be happy for very long if he's being run into the ground.
