Wrong, he's the starting PG who is making ~12mill per meaning the Wolves are already invested in him. There are 3 players who can all be argued as being the #1 pick so naturally the Wolves roster & talent needs to be a factor regardless of how small it is. IE: If a team has 2 players rated evenly then you go with the one who fits the rest of the roster the best.

At #1... no.

If the Wolves were drafting #3... things would be a lot more interesting regarding Mr. Rubio.

If Russell were the clear #1 prospect then I'd select him and have him combo guard with Rubio and LaVine/Martin.

But if he's rated on the same level (or below) the bigs, then you go with need position (which PG is not currently a big need due to Rubio)
