now that Wiggins is officially ROY
now that Wiggins is officially ROY
Did he exceed expectations or did he simply do what number 1 picks should do?

I think he exceeded expectations. I always thought he'd be good but not this quickly. I also thought he'd be ROY but I didn't think he'd impress as much as he did as a number 1 option on offense. It was a great start to hopefully a great career.

He exceeded my expectations from the standpoint that I saw a player, as the year went on, that looked like he will be able to impose his will on a given game. I see a superstar.

I was happy to see both guys (Lavine) avoid hitting that proverbial wall. They both struggled late at times but the wheels never completely fell off. They both put up big numbers from time to time even as the season wound down. That means both are mentally and physically prepared going forward.

I called it. I was the first one to say that wiggins will win the rookie of the year. I said it the moment the love trade became official. He sure did everything I expected him to and had the rookie of the year season I expected him to have.

Exceeded for sure and it was great to see him get better as the year went out despite struggling here and there.

Wiggins did what a No. 1 is supposed to do, in my opinion, but he had many bursts of greatness. This ROY award was locked up months ago, and should have been unanimously voted. The main aspect of his game that changed throughout the year was his aggressiveness. He was making a determined effort to get in the paint night in and night out, which I love. He even tried to dunk on everybody, which gave us fans plenty of highlight reel jams. The future looks bright! Let's hope Andrew stays hungry.

I was right there with you World. When a lot of people were saying Parker would win it, I was in Wiggins camp.
But even though he won the award as I thought he would, he exceeded my expectations offensively. I love the way he decided to take over games late in the season. I think he will be an absolute monster as soon as next year.

He did what I would expect such a highly touted number one pick should do. He exceeded my expectations regarding what a Wolves first round pick could do!
