Wolves vs. Thunder GDT: Get Your Kicks on Loss 66

Post by GymRat [enjin:6592663] »

Is it unsettling to anyone the Wolves record could bare the mark of the Devil after tonight's loss? 16-66. How do we combat the devil? Billy Donovan was a Providence Friar. Providence's original fight song is "Friar Away (from 3!?)" What other random pseudo connections can we pull out of this meaningfully meaningless game and season?!

OKC - come get your playoff spot!

I love the title. I love the theme. But I gotta super bad feeling about tonight...

Hopefully the Knicks beat Detroit tonight and it doesn't matter what goes down at Target Center. (I would love to see the Pelicans make the playoffs, but the Spurs have a lot riding on their game tonight, so it's up to the Wolves to beat Westbrook!)

Tim, if you're a betting man...

The Wolves have finished their last four "tank" seasons with a collective 2 - 62 mark heading into tonight.

That's just some damn good managing if you ask me. I wonder if Flip will get some votes for Coach of Year? :-)

To be fair... Kurt Rambis did most of the groundwork...

I believe the Wolves were 1 - 38 to close out his two seasons.

Over/Under Westbrook 50 points. I'm inclined to take the over. At least the Thunder suck on defense so it should be a high scoring affair on both sides of the ball.

I'd like to see the Wolves try to keep Westbrook under 40 points and 40% shooting. He will hit 140% on angry grimaces.

He makes Kendrick Perkins seem jolly.

Berman's tweet made me chuckle...

Marc Berman @NYPost_Berman
All Minnesota has to do is lose to OKC tonight to clinch No. 1 lottery seed. Would be surprised if Flip Saunders starts 5 guys.

Nothing like a good ol' "box and zero" defense.
