Andrew Wiggins last 10 games

Post by TRKO [enjin:12664595] »

25 PPG
6 RPG
1 SPG
3 APG
46% from the field

I think you will see numbers like this the duration of next year. The guy has really turned it on as of late. His game hasn't even fully developed yet. It's pretty scary.

LaVine is at 18 PPG 5 RPG and 5 APG. We need to pair these two with Okafor or Towns. We have some really nice building blocks.

Im amazed at the ease he's getting to the FT line lately... he's 20, and over his last 10 games he's put up Kobe/Harden type numbers at the stripe.

Some people have whined about the 3 point numbers, but at this point im not really worried about it, at some points during the season he showed he can shoot the 3 it's just waned down. The best of scorers usually have something in common, they get to the stripe so even if their shots aren't falling on a given night they'll still get theirs by drawing fouls and impact the game that way. Steph Curry being the exception, but then again not many human beings can jack up 3's and make it like he does.

To me the way he's getting to the FT line is a telling sign of how good he'll be offensively.

At least from what we have seen throughout the year I'm starting to think we have 4 of our top 6 (Rubio, Wiggins, Lavine & Bazz). We just need to figure out C & PF.

He has been very impressive lately. He is more in control of the game every day. This is unlike anything we have seen in these parts before. He is looking more like he will be in the elite tier of players that does whatever he wants on the floor. Flip better not fuck this up.

Just playing devils advocate for Lavine. Dieng was a beast at this time last year. This is the time anthony Randolph always used to shine

Yep. And with a bunch of good PF/C options in this year's draft, we certainly better be able to plug one of those holes. Sprinkle in some decent vets (Martin can still play) and we all should have less to complain about next year.

Lavine has cut way back on his turnovers over the same period while continuing to score relatively efficiently!

Both Wiggins and Lavine have had a full season in which to learn and grow, it'll be interesting to see if Payne come this time next year is also showing significant growth. I'm not hopeful, but it would be great if he can develop into a solid rotational piece!

It was a sign of spring with Randolph.

The free throws are the one thing I'm taking away from what are truly meaningless games. Sometimes (LA game) it's against D-leaguers... but he's shown ability to get to the line as a rookie. That's pretty rare.

Despite what many think... it might be a sign that he's getting respect from officials few other rookies get. That should only expand.

The rest? It's fine, I guess. But the team is losing... and it's usually not close. There'll be a lot of wait-and-see for next year. But Wiggins has done enough to be the one definite core guy on this team moving forward.
