No takers? Can't imagine this one being all that appealing to anyone else. More than half the team is out again with Gorgui concussion. Martin only dressed to make the minimum.

I don't even care if I'm talking to myself. Wiggins just posterized Gobert so bad. Then screamed. I jumped out of my seat.
This kid... damn. Who cares who were drafting. We got another 10 games of Wiggins to enjoy first.

Poster #3 is blocked. And gobert flexes on him. I love this game.

What a shitty game from payne I am starting to really worry about that trade

When Flip decided to squawk about the Utah announcers "tanking" comments, that kind of clinched that he's been tanking. And the tanking continues. There is no way all these guys can't play...
Of course, I have no problem with it!

Boy, we made Utah look like a well-oiled machine tonight.
- Wiggins made three highlight-reel dunks tonight, including two right in Gobert's face. I love how he's become so much more aggressive going to the hoop. Just incredible plays that made watching an otherwise moribund performance worth it.
- I think Wiggins is going to be a very good player. Gordon Hayward is already a very good player. But the best player tonight by far was Rudy Gobert. And what I mean by "best" is not necessarily sheer skill, but just the impact he has on their team. Yes, Wiggins dunked on him a couple of times, but he also stuffed Andrew at the rim and made Payne look absolutely silly a few times. He anchors their defense and stays in his lane offensively. Yes, I'd still trade our lotto pick straight up for Gobert.
- Speaking of Payne....Sigh. He was absolutely pitiful tonight. Unforced fumbles to the other team. Check. Setting picks and standing still instead of slipping to the hoop for a wide open dunk. Check. Taking ill-advised, off balance shots. Check. Just a horrific display of basketball. And this is a night after I thought he performed quite admirably. One step forward, two steps back.
- While Wiggins made some highlight-reel dunks, he really didn't impact the game much otherwise. His outside shot has been non-existent for the better part of a couple of months now and he simply doesn't do enough otherwise (yet) to really impact games. Someday....someday.....
- Budinger with another solid outing. It's sort of sad though that he led us in rebounding.
- My guy Robbie Hummel was the only Wolves player in the plus column. He didn't look great out there, but he consistently makes the right decisions. Good to have him back in the rotation.
And the death march continues! (hopefully Rubio is back Wednesday....)

I just got home from a game of pickup and am starting the game right now. Perhaps if my eyes don't bleed too bad I'll write my thoughts as well.
Payne didn't play well? Ya don't say...
