Sometimes I feel like we don't feel how lucky were to be even at this point with our disgruntled superstar.
I mean the Nuggets got nd Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov and a 2014 first-round draft pick for Melo
And
The Jazz got Derrick Favors, Devin Harris, two first-round draft picks for Deron Williams
I'm just saying I'm happy with a Wiggins Bennet and two first round picks I think that's quite a haul.
Disgruntled superstar trades
Re: Disgruntled superstar trades
It is definitely (partially) a matter of circumstance. If LeBron hadn't gone home, things would be a lot different. At this point it looks like a good deal of luck and all I can say is that its about damn time for Wolves fans.

Agreed with the posts above. We are in good position if we do get wiggins. Luck did play a part but we are due to get lucky I believe.

I'll hold back my excitement until I hear there's a deal in place. I believe there will be one, but crazy things happen.

I know what you guys are saying, but we ARE in the process of losing a top 10 player..
Re: Disgruntled superstar trades
How ironic that part of the Wolves luck would be the Cavs lucking out for the 3rd time in four years and winning the lottery.

Exactly. I guess we're lucky in the fact that LeBron's decision made Cleveland another potential trade partner to help drive up the value, but we pretty much lose no matter what. The odds of Wiggins (or anyone else we might get in return for Love) ever being as good as Kevin are quite small.

I know cool. But it could have been a lot worse. The luck is about lebron going back to the cavs. If not, we are looking at paying klay the max next season or a bunch of role players from the bulls.
The good thing with wiggins is that he is someone that has the potential to be a superstar and he is someone that will excite the fanbase and the casvs deal leaves us with flexibility down the road.

Yeah World I know where you're coming from, but I would rather have someone trading US the top 10 player for young guys with potential and draft assets.

Maybe if the young guys we get will eventually be good enough to put us in that position down the road?. Who knows?
Im a big love fan and ive said countless times last season that we need to build around love and rubio one last time this upcoming season. But love makes it clear that he wants out. Its time to move on and wiggins is the best possible deal there is and it only happens with james going home.
