Knicks Trying to deal for Bjelica
My favorite part of this article: "On the other hand, Flip is a pretty terrible GM, and I've learned not to dismiss Phil Jackson so easily after he pulled of the Grant-for-Hardaway miracle." Oh no they di'n't!!

I doubt there is a trade happening with the Knicks. But I do still believe Bjelica is being shopped. Still a lot of offseason left!

I just read that. Pretty amusing. I would be a lot more excited about Bjelica if we didn't do the Payne trade.

I scoffed at this until I began reading some of the comments after the article. One guy came up with a deal too good for both teams to pass on...Cleanthony Early and a couple second rounders for Bjelica.
Perfect for the Wolves. Early and his 8.46 PER move right into the starting SF spot. Really improves our bench because we will have Wiggins and Muhammad backing him up.
Come on Flip...get this done!

Only way I could see it happening is if a 3rd team was involved. Maybe with the Knicks trading Carmelo. The only thing I agree upon in that article as he would likely fit in well with that offense.
Re: Knicks Trying to deal for Bjelica
I liked Early a lot in college and would be interested if we didn't already have a couple young players at SF. I don't think he is a PF but may be another tweener. Like I said in another thread the Knicks probably called (like a lot of other teams) but they have basically nothing to offer.

They would have to offer Grant and Guillermo Hernangomez, but I doubt they trade either.

Lol. Good stuff, Long! But you'd better clarify for some that your post was steeped in sarcasm.
Re: Knicks Trying to deal for Bjelica
The Knicks aren't getting Bjelica. I don't think Flip is interested in trading him, but to the extent Flip is open to dealing him, the Knicks don't have anything close to the assets Flip would accept in return.
You know that the Knicks situation is bad when Knicks fans are concockting wild fantasy trades for untested Euro players and characterizing a Hardaway for Grant swap as miraculous. And calling Flip a pretty bad GM when discussing the Zen Master's mess of an organization is pretty funny. It's so pathetic I'd feel sorry for the Knicks and their fans if they weren't the Knicks. :)

That author really is clueless lmao. That was laughably painful to read.
Re: Knicks Trying to deal for Bjelica
Knicks have nothing to offer, plain and simple.
