I love these arbitrary stat projections! I guess it's helpful for the.fantasy players.

I'll take the over on Russells ppg, he's gonna be a chucker

Might depend a bit on Bryant's health, right?

I think it might depend more on if they are able to acquire a big man like Cousins or Love that demand more touches. It would relegate Russell to 3rd or 4th option in his rookie season.

On a side note, I hate it when sites force you to read through a slideshow rather than a single page. It's terrible formatting.

I would be very happy if both Towns and Jones put up these numbers next year. I think they are pretty realistic. Towns would be near a double double and close to 2 blocks a game. I would be very happy with that. I would be happy with Jones being efficient and not turning the ball over and getting those numbers.

i think Russell with be at minimum the second option on his team. I don't see Bryant staying healthy and even so Russell might be the best player he has ever shared a backcourt with. I think Russell has more assists and is PG more then not. Clarkson will play with him a lot though.

I hate that 32 page break down page to page format too...what a waste of bytes and refreshing time.

I think Towns has a much better chance of reaching his predictions than Tyus. I love the hometown connection, but let's face it, Jones was the 6th PG taken (not counting Russell) and went #24... I'll be happy if he gets 15 minutes per game. Yes, sometimes Rubio will be hurt, but other times Tyus will be severely tested to get minutes... guys like Curry, Rose and Parker are a lot faster, guys like Lowry are a lot stronger, and guys like Carter-Williams and Russell are a lot bigger. Jones will need a couple of years to evolve from "untested and undersized rookie" to "crafty veteran".

I think he's smart enough and has a great PG mentality... and obviously isn't afraid in the clutch... but I think we'll be lucky to see 5 PPG and 3.5 assists in 15 minutes.

Pete, don't be a stranger!

(I agree with your Tyus Jones take, but most folks here know I'm not happy about that trade).
