2015 Vegas Summer League
I know...jumping the gun a little. But it's just a couple weeks away and Zgoda just talked about it on his live chat, so I thought I would get a thread going.
Somebody asked a question about what Shabazz and Bennett are doing this summer, and as part of his reply, Jay-Z said we would be seeing both in Summer League play. that surprised me, because they are both 3rd-year players. I think he's wrong.
But as a minimum we will be seeing Towns and anyone else we draft, plus Payne and LaVine. I'm interested in seeing how much LaVine has matured, and how Payne looks after actually practicing with a team.

I concur with all of that. Selfishly I wish Wiggins would play, but it isn't going to happen. I hear he will be there however in a supporting role.

Yes wiggins will be buying shots at the pool for the team. Oh wait..is that even legal?

I most interested in how Payne has come along this summer. I really like the physical tools he has, even more than Bennett.

Hopefully we draft a PG, so LaVine can play SG.

Plus he has a certain aggressiveness, even though it is mismanaged a lot of the time. He is one guy who I really believe can benefit playing with KG.

OMG. Is cool drinking the KG mentorship potion? Welcome to the dark side man.

Haha, no but Payne would seem to be an exception.
Re: 2015 Vegas Summer League
Bazz I don't think would play but Bennett if healthy will play because he needs the reps or maybe a chance to look good for a team that may trade for him. If I was the Woles I would want him to play and If I was Bennett I would want to play.
As far as Lavine playing SG in SL I would hope Lorenzo Brown plays also in SL to get Lavine off the ball at least a chunk of the time. Wolves could have a pretty good squad.

Yeah, I am seriously trying to figure out if I can get out there. But I don't think I can make it work. But all games are suppose to be broadcase (although maybe not live...).
