Sacramento.

Wow, sounds like that team is already imploding....and we aren't even to the draft yet. Sounds like Karl wants DMC traded immediately, and they are also looking to unload Rudy Gay. I know some have asked what it would take to get DMC, but I think the simply answer is WAY more than the Wolves would be willing to pay a mercurial star like Cousins. Rudy, on the other hand, could be someone more attainable. I would call them immediately about a Rubio for Rudy swap. Contracts are very similar, and they could be dealt straight up.

Would be even better if we could expand deal to include Collison.

Maybe Gay/Collison for Rubio/Bjelica/#36

Karl clearly wants some high character guys, which Rubio is....and they are definitely looking for a long term answer at PG.

Just spit-ballin here, but following lineup looks fairly strong:
Towns/Pek/Dieng
KG/Payne (hopefully Towns and Dieng rather than Payne)
Gay/Chase/Hummel
Wiggins/Martin/Lavine
Collison/Lavine/Vet PG

No thanks. I don't want Rudy Gay. Ricky fits in well with with Wiggins and Towns, Gay would not.

Rudy Gay will be 29 in August. He's old, overpaid and a ball hog.

Ummmm, no to Rudy Gay. We need PGs, not SFs. Collison would be a great PG to pair with Rubio, not replace him.

I agree that Collison would be a nice pickup as long as we keep Ricky too. Hopefully they draft a point guard and are willing to trade Collison for scraps like Bennett/Payne or second rounders.

Sacramento's ownership group seems like a bunch of overmatched clowns.

They're right to have Karl control what happens there... even if he's wrong... he knows hoops more than they do.

Don't let Demarcus Cousins on-court success fool you. He is still a ticking time bomb that could go off at any time. His behavior off the court alienates just about anyone associated with the organization. He's not a great practice player, and displays very little leadership. In short, he's a cancer even though he is a double double machine. Organizations that plan on winning big, don't mess around with a guy like this. The fact the Karl doesn't want him should come as no surprise.

Cousins is a beast and he's already shown, even in a small sample size, that a coach can get to him and win games with him. You don't have to be a nice guy to be a dominant player and dominant players are a premium in the NBA.

Also, no thanks to Rudy Gay. I like the player. I just think the time to get him was several years ago when Love was still here. We're going away from that model.

They know how to draft PGs in the 2nd round that's about all I can really say that's too positive about them. If all that is true what a mess and I am a fan of Cousins but realize there are some issues. I am also a fan of Karl but I wonder if what he says ends up being good for them either if he wants to win now. I never can figure out who is on charge there. Maybe Vlade can fix it. lol

That's what seemed so odd about the Mike Malone firing. It sure seemed like just when Cousins had a coach who could light the fire under him and who could reach him... and win with him... they fire him?

FOR TYRONE CORBIN?

Don't you at least owe it to yourself to let it play out a bit longer and see if it's fool's gold or not? I think Cousins is immature and has red flag issues... but Sacramento's moves last season were confusing at best.
