Wiggins has such long steps it seems like he is always 2 steps away from dunking on someone.

There was a sports science video last year pre draft showing wiggins has a longer step than durant who is 3-4inches taller than him. That makes wiggins so deadly. Once he got past you, its hard to catch up or stop him.

Yep after I saw that I kinda watched his game for that factor. It's there and a special aspect of his game. If he becomes a good ball handler watch the hell out.

I remember a spin move Wiggins did last year that I thought he would finish with a floater or finger roll because he started it so far away from the basket. Nope. He easily flushed it through with a one-handed dunk. Damn.

What I don't like about Wiggins is that he's a loper. How often do you recall seeing him chugging down the court full bore? He would get a lot more easy baskets if he put those sprinter genes to use.

Shabazz on the other hand...and Brewer before him. Now those guys bust their asses.

Q, I remember the dunk you're referring to, I think it was pretty late in the year. The commentators also mentioned that as well as it was on SportsCenter I remember. He really floated up there, and with such a long stride, you would have thought he'd have had a hard time getting high enough to get to the rim from how he jumped. Makes me think of a magician when I saw that dunk, because it looked like slight of hand.

On the loper comment... Not to make excuses, but he was leading the league in minutes played in games towards the end of the year, so it's probably easier said than done when it comes to sprinting. I think he's a lot more cerebral than Shabazz or Brew. And I don't think there's many players that have the motor that Brewer has. That's something that can't be coached. I generally agree though.

Bazz had that transition thing going in college. The rest of his motor really jumped up bigtime this last year.

I don't think Wiggins has mentally grasped what he is physically capable of yet in some areas like running the floor. He does float and his lack of aggressiveness was a knock against him but offensively he really took it to people in a lot of ways last year. National media people even have said stuff like "yeah he (draft prospect or pick) isn't supposed to be aggressive enough to be a star but they said that about Wiggins..." I saw enough growth from Wiggins last year and his effort and desire on the defensive end of the floor makes me have faith in his development.

I will also say that at times you could see guys weren't running the floor because whoever had the ball wasn't pushing it and wasn't going to reward them. It wasn't that those players were selfish just not skilled enough. Sure guys should run hard anyway I don't want to make excuses for any guys but it happens. If Rubio is healthy and KG is gonna be a guy that gets a rebound out quick too. Tyus is a guy that showed in college not to have sticky fingers he moves the ball. Q is right Wiggins should get free for some easy buckets. Let's he both works harder to put himself in the position to do so and there are also guys that can get him the ball including Lavine improving his decision making.
